According to data recently released by the National Marine Park, Cozumel’s most visited reef is Paradise Reef.  At busier periods of the year, such as Spring Break and Carnaval, the National Marine Park data shows that there are as many as 3,000 visitors to the Cozumel reef system a day.

Paradise Reef is actually a series of three separate reefs running parallel to shore just south of Puerta Maya and with a maximum depth of 45 feet, making it in demand for photographers, novice divers and snorkelers.
