Now that Cozumel is drifting into low season, there are less cruise ships and incoming flights, as is the norm for this time of year.   In fact, the Cozumel International airport is only expecting 30 flights this week, with the heaviest days being Thursday and Friday.

On the cruise ship front, there are only 8 ships scheduled to arrive.  This is an unusually low number and hasn’t occurred since 2005.  The eight ships are expected to bring 24,000 passengers to visit the island.  Cozumel is not expecting any ships in port on either Saturday or Sunday.
