Cozumel is ready for the 2014 Carnaval Parades, which will take place March 1st, 3rd, and 4th.  Cozumel’s downtown waterfront, or malecon, has been painted and decorated with whimsical sea creatures.  Municipal organizers are gearing up for a big event this year, since over 40 float are expected to participate.

The official schedule of events can be found here. Please also keep in mind that several streets will be closed to traffic, and plan accordingly. This is one of the island’s biggest celebrations!
