Cozumel Gardener:  Spring is Here!

“Ours is not the task of fixing the entire world all at once, but of stretching out to mend the part of the world that is within our reach.”

– Clarissa Pinkola Estes

Just a few more days until the official start of spring, the days are getting longer and the soil is getting warmer with each passing day. It’s the perfect time to plant your seeds so by May they will be fully grown and producing delicious things like tomatoes.

What are you waiting for? Hit up your favorite nursery – or seed salesperson –  and get some hanging pots with Petunias or whatever you like.    How about some herbs on your window sill ready to pluck and use at a moments notice?  Consider some flowers bordering the walkway up to your front door:   there’s a million ways to celebrate spring so get out there and do it, the butterflies will thank you
