350K Visitors to Cozumel Reefs in 2014 According to National Park Data

The Director of Cozumel’s National Marine Park, “Arrecifies de Cozumel,” Cristopher Gonzalez stated, in a recent press conference that more than 350,000 people visited Cozumel’s reefs in 2014.  That means in an average month nearly 2 or 3 thousand people experience Cozumel’s underwater world.  In fact, it’s possible that these numbers might be even higher than reported since the figures have been collected based on the sales of the marine park bracelets that are sold to watersports operators with valid park permits.
