Cozumel Weather 2014: Record High Temperatures
Cozumel weather in 2014 fluctuated wildly, and hit record highs and lows all in the same calendar year. According to the National Weather Service, Cozumel experienced temperatures as high as 40C/100F, the highest in the state. Additionally the island saw 5 days where the temperature was 37 – 39C/98 – 102F.
Meteorologists are citing 2014 as the hottest year on record. In fact, the United States NOAA (National Oceanic & Atmospheric Agency) reported that the average temperature of the Earth – both on land and sea – has been the highest history.
