Cozumel Rotary Club is happy to announce the installation of the Water Purification System located at the Humane Society of Cozumel Island in Huertos Familiares. This state of the art system manufactured by Sunspring Hybrid will provide water not only the Humane Society in Cozumel, but all the local residents in the surrounding area for a fraction of the normal cost.
This was a joint effort on part of Club Rotary Cozumel and Texas Rotary Clubs in District 5810 that took almost two years to bring to fuition. The Humane Society of Cozumel Island would like to thank past Governor
Bill Dendy and several other clubs from District 5810 for donating the system and Alex Franco & Ernesto Alvarez from Club Rotario Cozumel, for their tireless efforts. Also, thanks to Eva Rasmussen from Blue Angel Hotel and Daniel Burgos from Kinta Mexican Bistro for their generous donations and our local sponsors who attended the fund raiser at Kinta to pay for installation.
