On Saturday, September 21st, International Peace Day, Lovecafe will be hosting a “Give Peace a Chance” Concert with music by the Red Eye Band from 7 – 10pm. The event is being held in conjunction with the Club Rotaract of Cozumel and is a tribute to the songs of John Lennon and the Beatles.
Cost of admission for this special fundraiser is a toy for NNI (Navidad del Niño Indigena) or Christmas for Underprivileged Children in English. Toys should be new, unwrapped, not require batteries, and not be war-like in nature. Financial donations at the door will also be accepted. Additionally, Lovecafe is generously donating the profits from two signature drinks to NNI as well: Green Peace, and their famous margaritas.
In addition to the John Lennon/Beatles tribute, various local musicians, including Fer and Lari Ruvel and Jon Amabilis will be performing as well.
Come for a great experience, and help the Rotarac Cozumel bring smiles to needy children’s faces this Christmas. NNI is a continuing project supported by the Club Rotaract Cozumel, for more information, contact Amy Qm.
