The US Consular Agency has announced the temporary closure of their offices n Cozumel. To explain how these recent changes will affect US citzen’s living in Cozumel, Samantha Mason, the US Consular representative for Playa del Carmen will be hosting a “Town Hall” style meeting on Friday, February 14th at 3pm. The meeting will be held at Tony Rome’s Restaurant, located on Av. 5 between Salas and 3rd. The meeting is designed to provide information and respond to inquiries about continuing consular services available to US Citizen’s residing and travelling to Cozumel, Mexico.
In the meantime, If you have information about an American Citizen Emergency, please contact the U.S. Consulate in Merida at 01-999-942-5700 for assistance. If you have routine business (Passport or Notarial Service), please contact the U.S. Consular Agency in Playa del Carmen at 01-984-873-0303 for assistance.
